My wonderfully talented graphic artist of a cousin, Denny, referred a co-worker to me for redesigning her website. Denny is a graphic designer for H Texas Magazine. A coworker of his, Jo Barrett, desperately needed a redesign of her current website for the launch of her third book.

Heading back to the website of a very well respected lawyer who focuses on creative professionals I found numerous articles relevant to this week’s lessons in the Media Law course I assist. Mr. Hoffman has penned countless articles that every person making their living as a creative needs to read. The article I chose for review is entitled The Need for a Written Web Design Contract.

The article “Keywords, Meta Tags and Trademarks” is one we all as creative professionals should take to heart. Many creative professionals add meta tags in websites unbeknownst to them that they are possibly committing trademark infringement. Attorney Ivan Hoffman’s article poses to shed some light into trademark infringement in regards to web development.

Castle of Spirits is such an integral part of many peoples lives. When the website stopped being updated regularly fans became concerned. After a few Google searches the COS visitors stumbled across my post.

Like many people I adore watching television shows about ghosts and paranormal such as Ghost Hunters on The Sci-Fi Channel. There is just something about the unknown that really manages to draw in people from all walks of life.
Believing in ghosts, life after death or paranormal activity is a personal choice and not one that I’m going to try to persuade otherwise. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs.
Because I do believe that some spirits stay behind after death, whether willingly or not, I was extremely excited to be hired by one particular lady.
